Step Two- Complete Application
Once your student's Enrollment Application has been received, a representative from Promesa will call you to request additional documents from your student's current school if needed.
Documents can be uploaded digitally through Ascender Parent Portal or they can be brought to the school in person after submitting the application.
Step Three- Submit Forms
Once the Enrollment Application has been reviewed, a representative from Promesa will call to inform you if your student's application has been approved.
Please note that your student is not officially enrolled until all paperwork has been completed, submitted, and approved.
If your student's Enrollment Application is denied, a representative from Promesa will call to explain why. Applicants may be contacted later if openings are available.
Required Documents
The documents required from an accepted student include the following:
- Proof of Age (birth certificate, birth statement, report card, baptismal record)
- Immunization record
- Last issued report card
- Parent/Legal Guardian Driver's License or Identification Card (ID)
- Parent/Legal Guardian Utility Bill
Copies will be made of each of the documents provided once the school Registration Packet is completed. These copies can be made by the receptionist at the school as necessary.
Once you are accepted
Promesa will provide a school bus schedule, school supply list and bell schedule as well as information that pertains to the Back to School Fair or any other orientation that may be required of new families entering Promesa. The bell schedule and school supply list are typically published online two to three weeks before the beginning of the academic year and hard copies can be found with the receptionist at each campus

We are currently accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year and we want to make sure our existing students continue attending the best open charter school located in Corpus Christi, Texas. We invite you to fill out the re-enrollment application to ensure your student continues learning at Promesa College Pre at West Corpus Christi. Don't delay! Seats are filling up quickly.

Enrollment Process

Thank you for your interest in Promesa College Prep-West Corpus Christi. To enroll your student, you must complete the following steps.

Step One/Primer Paso:
Apply online through the Promesa College Prep-West Corpus Christi New Student enrollment Application or submit an enrollment interest application in person. You can download the enrollment interest application and print and complete at home.
Completed enrollment interest applications can be left with the receptionist at our school, located at 3102 Baldwin, Corpus Christi, Texas.

Step Two/Segundo Paso:
Once your student’s enrollment application has been received, a representative from Promesa College Prep-West Corpus Christi will call you to request a disciplinary report from your student’s current school.
Parents are welcome to bring this disciplinary report with them, if applying in person, as this will expedite the application process.
We do not request disciplinary reports from students entering school for the first time.
Una vez que se haya recibido la solicitud de inscripción de su hijo, un representante de Promesa College Prep-West Corpus Christi lo llamará para solicitar un informe disciplinario de la escuela actual de su hijo.

Step three/Tercer Paso:
Both the completed application and the disciplinary report will be reviewed by a Promesa College Prep-West Corpus Christi designee who, in most cases, is the principal of the respective campus.
Once the application has been reviewed, a representative from Promesa College Prep-West Corpus Christi will call to inform you if your student’s application has been approved.
If your student is accepted, you will need to pick up a school Registration Form along with a checklist indicating which documents you will need to submit to Promesa College Prep-West Corpus Christi.
If your student’s application is denied, a representative from Promesa College Prep-West Corpus Christi will call to explain why the application was denied. Your student will be eligible to re-apply to Promesa College Prep-West Corpus Christi in 6 months.
Tanto la solicitud completa como el informe disciplinario serán revisados por una persona designada por Promesa College Prep-West Corpus Christi que, en la mayoría de los casos, es el director del campus respectivo.

Step four/Cuarto Paso:
Accepted students are required to provide the following:
- Birth certificate
- Immunization record
- Last issued report card
- Parent/Legal Guardian Driver's license or Identification Card (ID)
- A Social Security card, if available.
- Student uniform (Click here for student dress code.)
Copies will be made of each of the documents provided once the school Registration Form is completed.
